Executive Board Members
I have been volunteering for Lysander Youth Hockey for the past 15 years and over the years I have served in many different positions for the program. I started as a volunteer coach with Jim Bellso helping mini mites before I had any children in the program. Ten years ago, when my oldest son was 4, the board appointed me to the mini mite supervisor position. In my time running the mini-mites program, I helped hundreds of kids learn how to take their first strides on the ice. While I no longer run the mini-mites program, teaching new skaters to learn to skate and to love the sport that I love is a passion of mine, and I love to get out on the ice with the mini-mites whenever I can. Even as recently as last year, I helped to run our new Rookies program, which is a program for new skaters and players that are over the age of 8.
Over my 15 years of volunteering, I have coached many of my sons’ teams. I have also been an important part of the growth and continued success of the organization in a number of ways. I helped the effort in teaming up with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Syracuse Crunch organizations in getting our new logo and colors approved. In 2018 the President needed to step aside to run his business and looked to me to take the reins.
I am the current LYHA Board Secretary as well as the Supervisor of Mini Mites. I have been on the board since the summer of 2020. I am a mother of three. Two of my children are hockey players at Lysander. My daughter plays at the 12u level and my son plays at the 8u level. I have a 7 month old who I’m sure will be on the ice in the future as well!
We have been a part of the LYHA family since 2015. My husband Brian, has been coaching at Lysander since 2016. I am always here to help wherever I can, and enjoy all of the volunteer roles I have been lucky to be a part of. I love being involved in helping to create fun positive life experiences for kids and helping to make their adolescent years ones to remember!
I am a proud Lysander hockey Mom of two, Abigail (14U Girls) and Bryce (12U House) and wife of Randy Roth (Head Coach of 12U House and Assistant of 14U Girls). Randy and I bleed Lysander blue through and through and have dedicated ourselves to the continuous betterment of Lysander since the day we first walked through those doors.
One of my proudest achievements is being a vital part of bringing the life of the Girls program back to Lysander. I am an advocate for Girls hockey and will continue to ensure they have a place at Lysander. In addition, my child is and will forever be a house hockey player and will ensure that house hockey continues to be embraced in our Association.
My name is Tom DiBuono, I am the current Director of Communications and all-around Tech/IT guy for Lysander and the TRAC. I have been in the position and on the board since Jan 2021. I enjoy volunteering and offering my skills to help the organization to become a great place for the kids and families. I hope to continue helping out where I can and help the org grow. About 5 years ago my family became a hockey family because my significant other’s son wanted to give hockey a try. He started playing at Meachem for the Onondaga Thunder’s Bantam team. Not long after he started, they held a try hockey for free day, and we took my 2 younger kids there and they had a blast and wanted to play too even though they had never skated before! After the Thunder folded, we came to Lysander and have been here ever since. While my son decided to not continue playing hockey, we currently have an 8 year old on the 8U Red and 8U Girls team, and a 17 year old on Liverpool’s Varsity team.
My name is Dan Stadtmiller and I am the Director of Coaches. I currently have 3 children in the Lysander Youth Hockey Program at the squirt, mite, and mini-mite level. I currently assist the mite blue team and help with mini-mites as well. I have also coached many interscholastic sports including varsity ice hockey, varsity golf, and JV softball. I feel that my strong background in coaching and supervision of interscholastic athletics allows me to bring valuable experience to the position.
I have been involved in USA hockey for over 35 years. The majority of the time as a player and I have been privileged to coach the last 3 yrs. It’s been an honor to coach in the game I love so much. I love sharing my knowledge for the game with the kids. The Lysander organization has become a 2nd family.
